Join the Beaufort Fire Department for pancakes with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the fire station on Live Oak Street. The breakfast starts at 8 a.m.
All proceeds benefit the Beaufort Fireman's Association. Tickets are $8 per adult and $5 for children 12 & under. For more information, call 252 728-4325.

Get a jumpstart to your holiday celebrations with this annual event that is always a crowd pleaser for visitors and local Cape Fear residents like, The NC Holiday Flotilla at Wrightsville Beach is an enchanting evening that combines holiday celebrations with the allure of the coastline, courtesy of a festive boat parade, fireworks, and so much more.
The event technically begins after the day-long Wrightsville Beach Festival in the Park, and is an enjoyable capper to a full morning and afternoon of festive fun. The Flotilla (also known as a lighted boat parade) begins Saturday at 6:00 p.m., and spectators are welcome to admire the colorful vessels that are decked out for the holidays, and to vote for their favorites via the annual "People's Choice" and "Crowd Favorite" awards. After the parade, stick around as the flotilla is immediately followed by a spectacular fireworks show. The event is free and wide open to the public, and is an especially enticing event for young holiday fans, thanks to the corresponding Festival that is overflowing with activities, rides and games for children. With ample ways to celebrate, the NC Holiday Flotilla at Wrightsville Beach is a joyful way to ring in the season.
The Swansboro Christmas Flotilla is a time-honored tradition and fun for the whole family!
At dusk, on the Friday after Thanksgiving, gather along Swansboro’s waterfront and watch the spectacular parade of lights down the White Oak River. Music will fill the air and you can enjoy treats, such as funnel cakes, cider and hot cocoa as you enjoy the lights glimmering off the river. You’ll be amazed by the lights and décor of the boats and you might even catch a glimpse of Santa Claus! At the conclusion of the parade, Santa disembarks to hand out treats to the kids.

The Tree Lighting and Visit with Santa takes place at Wrightsville Beach Town Hall. Santa will make an appearance in the park.
